Wimberley Arts Fest

Howdy, Ya’ll!!!

Just wanted to give you all an invite to the Wimberley Arts Fest this Saturday, April 24, from 10 am to 7 pm. Lots of artists and musicians will be there, along with ME! :)  I’ll be at a booth under the big tent with lots of new necklaces and cabochons for sale, and also some larger porcelain items.  Hope you can come out and enjoy the sunshine, wildflowers, and beautiful art in the area.

I look forward to seeing you there!

Blessings,

Rhonda

2010 Musings

Hi, everyone!

Greetings in 2010! Yes, I know, I’m slow. Here it is February, and almost time for that most loving time of year.

Good news and bad—I have a whole new line of hearts—single and double, painted with all sorts of loving designs, just in time for Feb. 14. However, I don’t have the pictures downloaded onto the cabochon section—so you just have to trust me when I say they’re quite “loverly”! Give me a call or shoot me an email, and I’ll try to send a picture to you. One of these days I’ll actually get around to doing the business end of this business.  :)

Pantone, Inc. has informed us the new “in” color for 2010 is ta-da……turquoise!  For some of us turquoise lovers, this color never went out of style, but good to know it’s back in the front again!  Most of my china painter buddies know I very seldom consider my plates, teapots, scenes, etc. totally finished until there is at least some hint of turquoise in the painting!  So dig in your drawers and closets and bring out all that gorgeous turquoise again—or look on my website, and I’ll be glad to help you out!

Hope you’re having a great start to the new year!

Blessings,

Rhonda

Hill Country Bead Society

Saw a monarch butterfly the other day—surely somewhere in the world fall is on the way! If you need a cool place to get away from the heat, please join me at the Hill Country Bead Society meeting in Wimberley, Texas, on September 10th at 1:00. Pat Sibigtroth and I will be giving a demonstration on our method of making porcelain jewelry and showing these wonderful beaders our selection of porcelain cabochons to be woven into their creative bead projects.

If you would like to come, please contact me for more information. Hope to see you there!

Stay cool, my friends!

Blessings,

Rhonda

Wimberley Arts Fest

Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be having a booth at the Wimberley Arts Fest this Saturday, May 9th, from 10am to 6pm.  I have some more new designs, fresh out of the kiln! Haven’t had time to take pictures and put them on the website yet. At my last show, the new designs sold out before I could put them on the website, too, so come on out and grab them “while they’re hot!” :)   See you there!

It’s Almost Here!

Hi, everybody!

Just wanted to let you all know that the Lone Star Ladies Present: Shop Austin show is almost here!   It’s this Saturday, April 18, at Saengerrunde Hall, in downtown Austin, 11:00am -5:00pm, 1607 San Jacinto Blvd.    This is supposed to be “THE” premier shopping event of 2009!  I have a lot of new designs and paintings that are not shown on my website, and these will be on display at the show.

Hope you can come and join in on the fun!  See you there!

Blessings,

Rhonda

Upcoming Show

Hi, everyone!

Just wanted to let you all know about an upcoming show, on Saturday, April 18.

It’s called, drum roll, please: ”THE LONE STAR LADIES PRESENT: SHOP AUSTIN”, and it looks to be the premier shopping event of the spring!!!

Lots of new and old vendors, each with their unique talents on display, all to showcase Austin’s creativity.  Check out their website at: www.thelonestarladies.com.

Each vendor is given their own “web-fomercial”, and on March 27, please check me out!!!  I’ll be sending more news your way soon, but for now, I need to get back to painting your special jewelry pieces!  See you soon!

It’s Back

My apologies to those of you who tried to access the website during the recent update crash.  ‘Twas not a fun time, but hopefully all is back on track.  Many, many thanks to Cara for retrieving my lost data—and my sanity!  And if you ever see the website with pictures off-kelter, then you know I added a product where the picture went to giant size—we call it “the necklace that ate Chicago!”  Keep looking—you may see it again!!!

Anyway, all is updated, and life goes on.  Thanks again to Cara and to my knight in shining armor, my husband, who multitudinous times had to rescue his damsel in distress.  And thanks again to all of you, for your patience!  By the way, I just saw the first blooming sweetpea—on Jan. 31, so stay tuned—sweetpeas are on the way!

New Year’s Dreams

As this New Year bursts forth, I find myself resolved to be a blessing to those whose paths I cross!  One more day of housecleaning to finish off the Christmas memories, and then my first day of painting of the new year!  Woohoo!  I can hardly wait!  Lots of hopes and plans for butterflies, dragonflies, and hummingbirds to spring forth into reality from my dreams!

May each of you this year see reality come to your dreams, as well.  I wish for you Health, Happiness, and Hope, and may you find Joy in your Journey!!!

Blessings upon you!

Rhonda

Welcome to my world!

Hi, everyone!  Welcome to my new and almost ready website!

Santa’s little elf has been working hard trying to get the website finished.  Hope you like the necklaces and art.

This is my first venture into the world of web business (and yes, I have entered the age of technology kicking and dragging my feet all the way! =-)  As a typical artist, I would much rather be spending my time painting and letting the cares of the world go by, but guess we have to enter the realm of reality sometime, so here goes.  I’ll be posting pictures of more necklaces soon, so let me know what you think!

Blessings on you all!

Rhonda
