Texas artist Rhonda Haynes graduated with a B.A. in art and has been painting and creating ever since.  She has continued her artistic training by taking several classes and seminars over the years, and now specializes in porcelain painting.  Drawing inspiration from the beauty of creation around her, Rhonda specializes in animal and floral painting.  She combines her love of tactile expression with the fine arts by taking the same clay used in making porcelain teapots and teacups and then fashioning it into cabochons for jewelry. These various shapes are fired in the kiln, and then painted with 3-5 firings, each time strengthening and enriching the colors seen in her work.  Some of the pieces are embellished with fused dichroic glass or wirewrapping, and then beaded into necklaces.  Each unique piece of jewelry becomes a "wearable work of art," created with you, the discerning client in mind.
